Sarah's Reflection ( 4 )

Even though I missed this lesson for competition, I still understood what Ms Huang taught through my group members. They were given small rectangular paper and they need to identify it under environment, global, position, social and economy. After pasting each paper under its correct heading, they then label it under Opportunity, Threat and None. After looking through the sheet of paper, I was amazed by China's accomplish. For example, under the social category, "Mandarin has become the most popular foreign language for students in many countries." This is an opportunity as more student have the chance to learnt mandarin leading to more common language between one another and communication will be easier in future. From the position category, "China is the largest and fastest developing economy." This is a threat as China will be overtake USA economy in a few more years to come. I think the lesson was interesting as from this category activity, I better understand and learnt that more of China's accomplish. In daily lesson, I will not learn this knowledge about China, only CID lesson and this is what makes CID lesson unique and enjoyable.
